These parts are used for pressure compensation in ABS systems for hydraulic brakes. They are made from the material PPS which is a very demanding material to be processed. Pistons must be made with high precision when it comes to tolerances and roundness. They need to endure pressures of up to 400 bar for a car’s entire life cycle.
